Types of Agent Relationships                 

  • Sellers Agent
    If you engage the services of a listing broker to sell a property, you become the broker's client. That brokerage represents you, the seller, and owes you undivided loyalty, confidentiality and accountability. In negotiating for the best price and terms, the broker/agent must put the client's interests first.

 

  • Buyers Agent
    You may engage the services of a broker to represent you exclusively as a buyer of real property. In this case, the brokerage represents you and is accountable to you. They must obey your instructions and keep confidential anything you tell them that may affect the purchase of real property. In negotiating for the best price and terms, the broker/agent must put the client's interests first.

How many times have you gone to the Free websites to find Foreclosures?  You fill out the form.  And you are going to see the cheap, no downpayment, ready to move-in, home of your dreams.  Wrong!  You are going to find the fee (shipping charge, etc) for the Free service.  I don't know about you, but I have not paid the fee; so I don't know if you ever do get the information.  What I do know is that on this web site you can search for any property that is listed on the MLS.  Once you find a property that you would like to look at, or get more information about, you can contact me EvestaJStew@aol.com and we can tour the property at your convenience.

If you are looking to purchase real estate by calling the listing broker their position should be to represent their client the seller.  I would be representing you the buyer.
